Howdy!

I am a poet, writer, artist, educator, and young Beat scholar from Harrisonburg, Virginia currently living in Richmond. I hold an MFA in Poetry from UMASS Amherst (2017) where I was a reader for jubilat and received a B.A. in English with Creative Writing and Art Minors from James Madison University (2012). I was also a member of the American Boychoir from 2002 to 2004. You can find some of my works featured in “La Piccioletta Barca,” "The Oregon Hill Review," "voicemail poems," "WHURK Cultural Review," "Byrd Whistle," the 2024 PSV Anthology, and elsewhere. I am the author of the recently published chapbook "You Went to the River to See What it Would Be Like to Become a Fish" (Bottlecap Press 2025) and was a finalist for the 2026 Tusculum Review Chapbook Prize. As Poems for People Virginia, I perform personalized, typewritten poetry on demand across Virginia.

I look forward to hearing from you!
